MALLORY BOPE

Executive Director

Mallory grew up as a missionary kid in Japan and Bolivia, where she developed a deep love for the outdoors, community, and spaces that point people to God. A graduate of Moody Bible Institute, she spent summers on staff at Dickson Valley before serving in camping ministry and then as a stay-at-home mom for ten years.

Mallory loves teaching and is passionate about helping kids get outside, build friendships, and experience God through creation and community. She and her husband Jeff have been married since 2011 and have five awesome kids—Jay, Virginia, Mark, Helena, and Darcy—and they love being “camp kids.” Mallory is grateful to serve as Executive Director and continue the mission of Dickson Valley.

TIM HOOTS

Facilities Director

A native of Manteno, IL, Tim brings a wealth of hands-on experience from his time in maintenance at Life Action Ministries in Michigan and as a ranch hand in Colorado. He’s a true master of fixing just about anything—and anything he doesn’t know, he’s quick to learn. His wide-ranging skills have been a huge blessing to Dickson Valley, where he has led numerous construction and remodel projects over the years.

Tim and his wife Priscilla were married in 2007. A longtime part of the Dickson Valley family, Priscila helps all over camp—from cleaning and kitchen support to jumping on the lawn mower (which she loves!). Together, they have three wonderful kids: Skyler, Rylan, and Grayson.

PAUL TROMBA

Foodservice Manager

Paul serves as Dickson Valley’s Food Service Manager and brings a deep passion for cooking along with years of experience in food service. After spending several summers on staff, he joined the year-round team and now shares his culinary gifts with campers and staff throughout the year.

Paul met his future wife, Leah Ann, here at camp! She now helps all over—supporting cleaning, summer programming, and more. They both love Dickson Valley and are huge assets to its mission.
